クラウディウス、Tiberius Claudius Nero Caesar Drusus( 紀元前10年 - 54年10月13日）

ローマ帝国の第4代皇帝である。アントニウスの孫であり、アウグストゥスの妻リウィアの孫でもある。体が弱く、歴史家であったが、カリグラの暗殺後に元老院から治世を任され皇帝に就任した。元歴史家らしく、知性と教養に富んだ政策を進め、ユダヤの統治問題などを解決するが、地味な仕事は評価されにくく市民からの人気は低かった。毒キノコの中毒によって死去するが、妻の暗殺とする説もある。-wikipedia.jp

Tiberius Claudius Nero Caesar Drusus (sometimes listed as Claudius I), originally known as Tiberius Claudius Drusus Nero Germanicus (August 1, 10 BC - October 13, 54) was Roman Emperor from 41 to his death in 54. He was grandson of Augustus's wife Livia, nephew of Tiberius, and brother to Germanicus.
